Whilst technically not classed as clinical waste, offensive waste still needs to be correctly stored and disposed of – and is very much included within the WGS Clinical Services waste management operation for clients across the South East.
Items such as incontinence pads, sanitary hygiene waste, nappies and protective clothing would come under this umbrella.
In accordance with industry standard regulations, we will supply clients with tiger stripped bags to ensure that materials can be appropriately stored before collection. The bags must then be tied and we provide post coded bag ties for the traceability of your waste.
We supply lockable wheelie bins for the safe storage of your offensive waste bags. These vary in size according to your waste requirements and the 770 litre and 1100 litre wheelie bins come with industry-leading drop fronts to aid the manual handling procedure.
These materials would then either be taken to specialist energy recovery facilities or specialist landfill sites.
